As you read this, the final post for this year, a review of the Victorian Socialists, will have been published, marking the end of this election’s reviews.
Now, this time the reviews are somewhat incomplete: due to a combination of a shorter campaign and illness on the part of Maz and myself, time has run out. Thus, we have taken a cue from axvoter and elected to leave the best known parties out of our reviews. We will not be reviewing:
- The ALP
- The Greens
- Pauline Hanson’s One Nation
- The Coalition (the Liberal, National, the Country Liberal Party, and the Liberal National Party of Queensland1“We’re more of the National Liberal Country Party. Now, we can do you National and Liberal without the Country, or Liberal and Country without the National, or all three, concurrently or consecutively, but we cannot do you National and Country without the Liberal. The Liberal is compulsory – they’re all Liberal, y’see?”)
However, we have not left you entirely without aid in this area. We have assembled a collection of more than 20 election scorecards, assembled by various groups to show how the big parties (and sometimes PHON and other minor parties) are likely to vote in various areas of concern. We hope you find this useful.
In addition, we have updated the posts for Viesha Lewand, Nate Ritter and the Group T Independents: Raj Saini, Kirti Alle & Yashaswini Srinivas Kanakagiri.
Thank you all for reading and commenting and liking and sharing. It’s heart-warming that this little corner of the internet means so much to so many people 🙂
Thanks for all your hard work Maz and Loki!
I definitely appreciate the coverage. Thanks for everything 🙂
